Practice Pharmacists

Practice Pharmacists assist the GPs with prescribing issues, often undertakes medication reviews and assists in chronic disease management. On occasion you may be contacted by our Practice Pharmacist to ensure that you are on the most effective combination of medications for your condition.   The Practice Pharmacist also participates in research projects.

Community Midwives

The Community Midwives run regular clinics at the Practice.  Please contact Reception for full details of these clinics.

Community Nurses

The district nursing team, on referral from any of the doctors, will provide specialist nursing care and advice to patients in their own homes. They may be contacted on 01224 846718.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitor offers advice and support mainly to families with pre-school children. She provides baby clinics, child development clinics, and child immunisation clinics within the practice as well as working in the community. Childhood Immunisations are organised by the Health Visitor, who makes individual appointments. At other times the Health Visitor is available for home visits as necessary.
